My journey began in a small town in Italy - where I was living and working at a local BnB. It was in a small Italian village by the sea, that I realized I didn’t want work a corporate job, even before my first “official” corporate job was about to start.

You see, about five years ago, I was at the peak of my insecurity - I was alone, timid, had a low self esteem, and absolutely zero confidence. Despite growing up a competitive athlete, attitude and confidence was something I always struggled with internally. That all changed when I discovered the weight room in the gym. I found that I wanted to be stronger than the boys, that I thrived being one of the few females in there, and best of all, the astounding strength that grew within me physically and emotionally. It was in the gym that I became the woman I am today - confident, strong, and not willing to settle for less than I know I deserve.

You see, strength training and bodybuilding taught me where the mind and body’s limitations do - and do not - exist. I told myself over and over again “You are stronger than you think,” and “I’m the shit.” And let me tell you something, the repetition of those words changed the course of my life. The confidence that came with this discovery of both the weight room and where my limitations did not exist, became something I wanted to share with other women.

If I could go from feeling like nothing, to knowing and feeling like the ruler of my own world, and owning my power and strength, I know you can too.

Fast forward 2.5 years - by the time I was graduating college, I had “done everything right” - I did the internships, leadership projects, was going to graduate summa cum laude, and I had four or five job offers. I had done it, I did what I was supposed to do in college - I built the woman that more or less I wanted to be - to an extent.

The job offer I took didn’t start for another 6 months post-graduation, so I spent this time seeing more of beautiful Arizona, and decided to treat myself to a Workaway program in Italy. Little did I know my reality would be shattered there. I had the biggest “Oh sh*t” moment of my life when I realized - the life I thought I had built, that I thought I had wanted, I never really wanted at all. It was what was expected of me, conditioned since I was a child. I did everything right, and by the time I started that corporate job six months later began to suffer from one of the deepest depressions of my life. While in Italy, I had discovered two girls who found ways to work online and travel the world and I knew deep in my heart that was exactly what I wanted. So I started working on my online business skills, putting my degree to use, taking courses to develop skills I could sell and I discovered web design.

Just as humans do, our businesses evolve, and my business evolved from web design to empowering women when I realized I loved creating tools and resources to improve quality of life, to get organized, and that I wanted to create a one-stop shop for everything you might need for a well-rounded, confident, life. I wanted to use my degree and passions to help you discover and ignite (or re-ignite) the fire that I know is within you.

I fully believe in the immense power women carry, and I want to serve you, to show you exactly where that power is, so you can step into it and own, create, and live the life you deserve to live.

♡ Rome, Italy

The past few formative years of my life have looked like…

Graduated from Arizona State University-Tempe Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, an “unofficial” minor in Mandarin Chinese, 5 job offers, 1 accepted, and 6 months until job start date. Ready to be “Queen of the Boardroom” and conquer every single action, task, and project I needed to do to get exactly there.

**Mindset: Workaholic, time to get this show on the road, baby.**
— 2016
Live and work in a small BnB in Riomaggiore, a tiny village in scenic Cinque Terre, Italy; have a massive “Holy Sh*t” that maybe I don’t actually want to be Queen of the Boardroom because there’s too many beautiful moments to experience, places to see, and people to meet. Exposure to online businesses and digital nomadism occurs for the first time. But I haven’t even started my job yet so I have to give it a shot, maybe it’s just “vacation brain.”

**Mindset: Wait...Wtf?**
— Summer 2017
Miserable at my 9-5, literally looking out the window towards Rome every. single. day. Taking courses to learn skills I can use to create an online business, reading books about entrepreneurship and self-improvement.

**Mindset: This can’t be everything I’ve worked my whole life for?**
— Late 2017 - Early 2018
Released from 9-5 and it was *oh so* liberating. After the initial shock of “failure” I realized that I had my whole life ahead of me, and anything I want to do, I am free to do. Begin learning about Squarespace and start taking on web design clients.

**Mindset: Holy smokes, I’m free**
— Summer 2018
Officially launch The Aurora Creative - Squarespace Web Design, double income from 2018 in Q4 of 2019.

**Mindset: I’ve got this…**
— 2019
I’m empowering women to step into the best versions of themselves by helping them lay strong foundations in their businesses, find balance in their lives, and incorporate discipline in their lives to become the best, most authentic versions of themselves.

**Mindset: Let’s. F*ing. Go.**

Every Woman’s Right to Education:

The Key to Empowerment

In June 2013, I watched the documentary “Girl Rising” on CNN on summer break from my first year of college, and it was 1 hour and 40 minutes that changed my life - seeing the stories of just 9 girls and their struggles for access to education. Needless to say, a fire was ignited inside me that didn’t go away. It just made sense to me - how women hold the key to changing the world through education, and how unfortunately, few women have access to educational resources, or their basic human right to education. I wanted to do something to help, but felt powerless. I pledged to myself that I would one day be able to give as much as I could to these funds, and to one day visit these locations to help spread the opportunity for women to receive an education.

-

We all know the story of Malala Yousafzai, the incredible woman who was shot at 15 by the Taliban for being an advocate of education for women. After reading her book “I am Malala” and watching “He Named Me Malala” I felt called to donate every chance I could. Malala and her father founded The Malala Fund in 2013 to fight for every girl’s right to 12 years of safe, free education.

-

When I began my business as a women’s empowerment coach, I couldn’t think of a better way to give back to the organizations that I am so passionate about. I am fortunate to live an abundant, life, with access to education growing up and the opportunity to earn a degree safely. My dream is to one day do more than donate, to bring education and empowerment to girls around the globe, and to visit the sites where both The Malala Fund and Girl Rising are bringing education to women, and start my own organization to raise money and give girls access to education and choice around the globe.

Heads Up: May Cause Chills and/or Tears

But you don’t have to work with me to donate! Click below to donate to either The Malala Fund or Girl Rising!*

*I am not personally associated with, nor do I work for, either of these organizations, I am just passionate about them!
