4 Ways to Prevent Self-Sabotage

4 ways you may be self-sabotaging and how you can prevent and overcome it

Have you ever found yourself seeming to be in a really good place, but then all of a sudden, seemingly out of nowhere, you hit a wall and suddenly things go south? Or maybe you’ve never been able to find yourself to get out of a particular situation because something keeps pushing you back?

There is a chance you may be self-sabotaging yourself, because a piece of you believes you can’t, or don’t deserve, more.

“That’s crazy! Of course I deserve more!”

Yes, you absolutely do, but there’s a piece of you, that having been conditioned with your life experience, that believes you can only go so far, and so anything beyond is unreachable, because it is new and therefore uncomfortable, so to stay comfortable, you literally find ways to self-sabotage and stay where you are, because it’s what you know.

4 Ways You May be Self-Sabotaging

>> Your beliefs limit you from your potential, and you think “There’s nothing I can do about that!” when in reality you have created them yourself (or been conditioned to believe them, so you’re actually living someone else’s beliefs, ick)

>> You aren’t living authentically - you’re afraid to voice your opinion, you’re afraid to wear what you want to wear, do what you want to do, eat what you want to eat, etc., you get the idea, right?

>> You care too much about what other people think, and this fear of others’ judgment makes you feel, think, and act smaller than you are.

>> You aren’t allowing what you desire, and what is 100% possible for you, to come to you because you’re too caught up in the physical world. Our lives are beyond 3D - there is so much more out there than what you see in front of you, but you will be blind to it if you’re too stuck in your physical reality

You might be wondering...okay, so how exactly can I change this?

Try these 4 Ways to Overcome & Prevent Self-Sabotage

>> Rewrite your beliefs. Dig through the beliefs that hold you back and ask yourself where they stemmed from. How are they limiting you now, and what do you want your new belief to be to allow the greatest abundance and life to come to you?

>> Embrace your authentic self. Don’t agree with something? Speak up. Hungry? Eat. Want to wear that dress? Wear it. Get invited out but don’t feel like being social? Stay home. Embrace who you are, you are showing self-love when you do, and when you live authentically, you live a significantly happier life.

>> Stop caring what other people think. Let me ask you, how does a stranger’s opinion affect your life? It doesn’t. If they judge in a negative way without knowing you (or even if they don’t), it’s okay to say “byeeee” because you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life anyways.

>> Go beyond the physical world. You are connected to something much greater - whether you believe it’s God, Source, Universe, what have you, for a few minutes a day, pull yourself out of the physical world for a minute and go within. There’s a whole beautiful world in there waiting for you to return. I promise you some of your problems are going to disappear because it’s probably, actually, not that important (obviously, within context).
